Iowa Maternal Health ECHO: Substance Use in Pregnancy: Symptoms, Screening, and Referral

Description

Didactic Presentation: Substance use during pregnancy, emphasizing early identification and appropriate care. It covers screening for perinatal substance use and treatment options for SUD during pregnancy. The presentation aims to equip healthcare providers with the knowledge to support pregnant individuals affected by substance use.

Speaker: Dr. Alison Lynch, Addiction Medicine

Additional time will be saved to review de-identified cases submitted by participants. If you have a case (patient, clinic, or system) you would like to submit for review and real-time problem solving, you can submit a case here.

This event is approved for continuing education credits. A certificate of participation will be available after successful completion of the course. (It is the responsibility of licensees to determine if this continuing education activity meets the requirements of their professional licensure board.)
